All cucurbits ( that germinated) now potted on. Still have my fingers crossed for the few I've resown in heated propagator.

Anyone find tromboncino slow to germinate?

I've sown Musquee de Provence, green bush, romanescue, rouge vif d'etamps, uchiki kuri, crown prince, striato di napoli, tromboncino and Jack of all Trades.....

So far the only ones not to come up are Trom and Jack. The others came up in the heated propagator in a couple of days. I'm not worried about the Jack as it was old seed, but the Tromboncino was brand new.

      Any thoughts?

The different Achocha varieties are poking through, germination is looking good even on saved seed from a few years ago. They are in a heated propagator at the moment but will have to make room for other things very soon!

Can't help sorry, my Tromboncino were some of the first to germinate. My sweet dumplings on the other hand are taking a flipping age ! Also like you, they are new seed. It's odd isn't it !

My trombocino haven't germinated either. Mine were a new packet from Sutton's. I have already sowed some more so hopefully I'll have better luck with them.

Selection of marketmore, telegraph pole (?!), some with a weird Russian name from Lidl, a selection of unknown cucamelon plants and a couple of watermelon all been in the GH from first 2 leaves

They also get 3 hours of classical music every afternoon

412% of statistics are made up.

Is that a greenhouse heater I see? So do you keep the greenhouse frost-free, rather than cold

Some of everything I sowed has germinated which is good. Squashes and courgettes have been potted on and growing happily in gh for now. Achocha fat baby - sowed 5, only 2 germinated but that's OK as apparently they're fairly rampant and I don't know if I like them yet

Cucumbers ready to go in gh, just need to empty out the tin bath they grow in. Achocha ready to go outside but having seen the bunnies in the front garden this morning I'm going to wait until they're a bit bigger.....
                    Another happy Nutter...

Only had it a couple of days and only use overnight so the gh is now always between 10-20 degrees if it's not sunny. But only been on the last 2-3 nights.

                            That's just cruelty

I'm very very happy because one of the resown jumbo pink banana squash has germinated in the elated propagator.

Oddly enough I found a random squash/pumpkin seed under the dining room table of the holiday home I clean at the weekend. That's now in the propagator we'll see if, what comes up

mine are now romping away - apart from the waltham butterut (which is brand new seed!) which only one germinated and is barely holding on. Need to ge the blowaway built this week so I can start hardening them off
