Sowing Paris Silverskin Onions

Hi, I wondered if it was possible to sow Paris Silverskin Onion seeds in trays/modules and then plant in final position rather than direct as you can do for Leeks.

Sow in a tray or modules?

That's how I did mine last year and how I intend to do them this year but 5 - 6 in a vending machine cup

Do you then separate them, Cadalot, or do you plant out them in clumps?

I sow thrm like Cadalot. A pinch of seeds in each module. When they are established I plant them out as a bunch. They seem to find there own space and you can start using them when they are small which will give the rest of them more space to mature.
