Anyone know what this is on my tomatoes?

I wondered if it was lack of potassium, but not sure.

its just a mpc from morrisons mixed with perlite.

Someone else said that but I think its just the way the pic was taken as I've just went to soak the pots and they are really heavy as I only watered yesterday.

Ive got 8 plants but only 2 are like this, all from the same batch of seeds too.

Have you got aphids on the stems? I can see little white specks?
Also a picture of the whole plant would be good. They look very spindly.

Also, what's the white stuff in your compost? Is that in the compost mix or is it mould?

Scarlet, I would say the white stuff in the pot is perlite but definitely looks like there are aphids on the plant.

I cant find anything on the plant bug wise... Ill get a few more pics.

They are quite spindly I was considering starting again.

Or you could take the bottom leaves off and plant deep. That would give you new compost and allow an extended root system to grow.

As well as above, use a different make of compost.

Are you still covering them ie in a propagator? To me it looks like scorch marks ie wet leaves scrunched up against the sides of a clear lid & getting burnt.
