I know what you mean about Honeoye - awful word.
Couldn't grow a Chilean guava named "Ka-pow"! The blurb says it was named by "James Wong himself".Queen Victoria would not have been amused!

Honeoye is pretty terrible (but i do grow some as they were well recommended)

Think I bought some Black Futsu seeds based purely on the name. Probably should dig them out and sow them actually......

There's a special offer on Raspberry "Yummy" at the moment. Bet it tastes foul!

Maybe there was a printing error and it was supposed to be Yucky!

The one that makes me laugh is the chilli pepper called Ring of Fire.

Haven't grown it so not sure how apt it is but I believe it's only moderately hot.

Must be just me, I don't care what they're called as long as they grow well and taste good

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I've always loved the name 'Collective Farm Woman Melon'. At once so utilitarian and silly.
