Doesnt leaving the lids on count?

I cover everything I germinate, seed trays in the propagator, containers with cling film etc once they peep through the cover/lid comes off.. it helps lock in temp and moisture without needing to water and have the seeds rot.. I figured I would do the same with these

My OH just tolerates my seeds and pots as it is - if I start collecting milk bottles too I'll be in trouble

Progress update... threw a small handful of seeds in and several have sprouted! It's gonna be claustrophobic in there in time...

my conservatory has killed mine... its too hot in there to use even when weather is only mild
