Aubergine transplanting

Hey all, quick question: when I pot on my aubergine plants, can I bury the stems up to the leaves as per tomato and chilli plants? A few are a bit twisted and not supporting the leaves up top too well.
Not grown aubergines before so having a go this year. Ta

Yes, when potting on Mrs B puts them in as per tomato and pepper plants, up to their first leaves.
