weak stems

I have been starting off various brassica in my cold frame but just lately they seem to have gone very weak stemmed and won't stand up


i did move some into bigger pots and plant deeper to see if it helps them but i was just wondering the cause

The usual reason is not enough light. Is your cold frame in a shady place? Brassicas don't really need to be in a cold frame at this time of year, so maybe they'd do better if you move them outside.

I agree with Zelenina, they have been too warm and not light enough.

yes thank you I thought that and have taken the lid off the cold frame
