Just saw my first cabbage white of the season. I suspect there will be more this week as the warm weather arrives, so probably time to dig out the netting if you haven't already.

my brassicas are still on the small side so are under a net cloche because I've not got around to erecting my large frame yet. Must do it this week before they reach the top of the small frame.

My brassicas are growing out their raised beds, best I've had in years, netting is now becoming too small and I fear the wee pesky blighters will be able to poke their bums through and lay their eggs, to arms is definitely the call up here now.Comment
