Clearing my new allotment plot today and spot these. Any idea what they are before I treat them as weeds?! Worth keeping?

I'd agree. Do they look like they've been planted on purpose (regular readers or grid at set spacing) or are they volunteers in the ground from last year's harvest?
Keep looking about - you seem to have inherited a lot of crops on your plot to start you off.
