If I can remember, and if I have the time, I should walk to the allotment and harvest some chard for a friend that I'm meeting for lunch. She's never tried it, and she's kinda thinking about growing more stuff in her large garden. I want to find a way to repay her kindness when she sourced a camping stove for me as a gift for the allotment! Chard will be a good start... and kale of course. So much kale.

I've had woefully little time for the garden and the plots, so I am planning to spend most of my Sunday up there, and a few hours in the back garden tomorrow.
I need to source someone with a tractor and a tippable trailer so that I can cash in on a large pile of well rotted manure not too far from here.
I also need to carry on with the cardboard and manure, so of course I need to source more cardboard.

But most importantly, tomorrow I have my friends round for a takeaway and some drinks to celebrate the result of my last essay of the year where I got a first! I hope that sets a trend that I can keep up in my next four years of study
