Working from home tomorrow to enable me to nip out to the lottie for an hour when the manure man calls.
He is delivering a topsoil / compost 50 /50 mix.
Then at the weekend I shall be digging all the tired old soil out of my polytunnel and replacing it with the nice fresh stuff, possibly enhancing it with some manure at some point.
The existing soil has been in there since I built it 6 years ago. I've kept adding compost and manure over the years, but there comes a time when it's time to change it, or move the poly and I can't be bothered to do the latter!!!
It's barely light up here so plans of doing any gardening are zero today.
I will need to find the heated propagator and clean any seed trays not done as it's only a month away from sowing onion and leek seeds.
