Harvest lettuce, baby spinach, carrots, broccoli - done except broccoli

Also dug up some of the white daisies at home as they are getting far too big (more needed)

Forecast is good and I've only got two evening shifts this week (5pm start!) so it's like a week off work And the weather is fabby dabby dooooo Allotment here I come....

Cut back the two buddleja shrubs DONE

Finish digging front bed by gate.

Lift various flower perennials from polytunnel beds and replant in front bed.

Ditto any flowers in bottom area which is top become my veggie patch.

Get those 70+ wallflowers into the ground!!!! Poor things have spent all winter in pots!

Start digging out veggie beds.

Pot up onion & shallot sets.

Prune sambucas niger leaning on shed. Done
Make a start clearing some of zillion trillion beech leaves from front garden. Filled 4large potato sacks so far (bins full and not being emptied for another week). Lotsof weeds under the leaves eek.Done.

Sitting on bum in morning drinking water, blood tests with consultant in afternoon.

Decided as im dropping the dogs with my mum for hour or so I need to burn some energy of puppy or itl be chaotic . So this morning , going to set up my mini GH in GH, feed some plants, look through seed packets (flowers) and play with dogs .

Tomorrow I'm going up to the allotment to check that the greenhouse is still standing. I bought greenhouse clips today, hoping I can cut down the huge pieces of polycarbonate that I've found (scavenged from abandoned plots, and found atop the chicken shed) and fit them to the metal frame. I should've bought them clips last week!

Also tidied up the old pepper plants and harvested a couple of peppers. Not sure if these are going to regrow, as there is no sign of it yet, but I'm keeping them for now as only 1 of the 5 seeds I sowed has germinated so far!
