Attempt to replace bulb in grow light - I can't see how to get the old one out! - no
Dig horsetail if time - done some
Harvest carrots - done plus PSB and rhubarb

Also sorted out the shed at the allotment.

Wednesday jobs
Very wet everywhere and forecast heavy showers, possibly with hail and thunder so I will probably be concentrating on things at home, mainly indoors.

Attempt to change that bulb in the grow light

Dig out the diddy sprout plants which haven’t started forming sprouts yet...
Build a cold frame and sow carrots and spring onions underneath it
Finish a few paths/steps

Sow broad beans in pots -done

Something tells me some of these will have to be deferred til next week as I am working tomorrow ;-)

Today bought chicken pellets for raised bed. Pellets will go in soon's the wind dies down. Gales and chicken **** dinnae mix.

Also: done bought compost. Got an old clean compost bag full of microscopic holes & the Aldi slow cooker wot packed in after 3 months. Jest waitin on some Giant Winter leek seeds to arrive - tomorry, likely - then will sow in slow cooker which has the necessary depth.

Hope springs eternal; or is it madness? Or maybe just bad grammar/spelling/regional dialect.
