Because if you think I'm going out there in this weather..........you are so so wrong!
I might brave a visit to the little tunnel to pull up bolting carrots.
Bolting carrots - removed
An extra job got done! Tidied the edges round the flower boarder.
I don't have a plan for today. I'll make a plan for when it stops raining

Chop up and make tea from the big piles of nettles and comfrey I pulled up at the weekend.
Plant out some squashes.
That's quite ambitious, as I'll only be at the plot for an hour maximum before work.
Made all of the comfrey and most of the nettles into tea.
Planted out two Crown Prince and one Burgess Buttercup squash.
Bonus jobs - potted up a spindly cayenne chilli.
Misted my aubergines (fnaaaar!)
Furtled my spuds (fnaar fnaar!)He-Pep!

Got up this morning and looked out the window (my way of weather forecasting) decided it was worthwhile going out into the garden.
Sat for 1/2 hour with my tea and toast, harvested new potatoes and a courgette for tea, tied in the tomatoes and cumbers.
Pretty much up to date now.Potty by name Potty by nature.

Today I was hoping to (work permitting, busier day expected):
Cut down that calabrese - done 1
Try to find a home round the back for the peas from the front garden as they have finished flowering and look messy - done
Pot up those cosmos plants - they are teasing me as I have 3 tall and 5 shorter, which doesn't divide nicely into either 2 or 3 pots. I grew them from seed and only these survived - done - decided on 3, 3, 1 and 1 in 4 pots, and used the 2 bigger ones to replace the trough of peas in the front garden.
Harvest peas, strawberries - done
Watering - done
Since I got up at 5am for reasons I don't quite understand, I also managed:
Weeding and more deadheading
Harvested one bucket of replanted Lady C potatoes for 0.2kg new potatoes.
Planted the calabrese seedlings in the vacant buckets from beetroot and calabrese (changed compost).
Brassica bucket shuffle - moved turnips, kohl rabi, 2 buckets of calabrese and some carrots to make room for everything under the nets. Brokali seedlings out to replace the calabrese ones on the seedling tray.
potted up the Megabyte tomato
Sowed some cress and put french beans to chit.
Fed the flowers and tomatoes.
Tomorrow's joblist includes:
Mow the lawns and trim the edges
Decide what I am going to do with 4 chinese cabbage plants and do it before they get pot bound and bolt.
Decide whether to sow the swede in paper pots or direct into their bucket and do it.
Harvest more strawberries and peas, and possibly a bucket of Lady C potatoes that has died down.
If time, prune the wiegela bush and trim dead bits off the clematis, which seems to have got wilt (again).

Didn't move any junk.
Did strim and sowed brassicas.
Mastered Invisibility - but I don't think anyone saw me do it.
Tomorrow I'm going to- Plant out the hostas
- Sow some more stuff - I'll work out what tomorrow.
- Empty the compost from the bin on the brassica bed and dismantle the bin (if the ants let me)
- Sow some brassicas in the space the compost bin was
- Move some junk
- Pull up a flagstone path
- Dismantle a blowaway frame
- Digout a raised bed
- Move the raised bed a few inches to the right.
- Fill up the raised bed
- Think of what to sow into the raised bed (may do a square foot bed)
