What I intend to do today/tomorrow!

Today I was going to do various things, but I'm stuck under a poorly small person. luckily I got some parsnip seeds in earlier

Tomorrow:
Mend two parts of the perimeter fence. Front and Back fences. Needs 3 posts each.

Move the rogue rhubarb from where I want my herbs to where the other rhubarb is

Uncover the area I've allocated for my asparagus crowns. Remove weeds, add manure. (Is that ok? Will the crowns like well rotted manure?)

Measure various parts of the plot.

Measure shed window - needs replacing.

Fix front gate. This is ambitious.

Hoping the rain will ease up for an hour or so, so that I can get some peas and radishes in the ground.
Possibly even some carrots under a cloche?

If the rain doesn’t stop, then I will sow the greenhouse seeds, and pick tape off cardboard boxes.

As expected yesterday's weather was appalling (quite a bit of Yorkshire is flooded as a result). It was still windy today, but I did get some of the jobs done.

Hi, I intend to do some raised boxes with a heavy tarp below the boxes. My plot has Club Root so first a tarp then half way up with cow manure then top up with compost. Would this work?

You would need to have some drainage holes in the tarp otherwise you would end up with a pond if it rained heavily. Whether this would allow the clubroot in I have no idea I'm afraid.

Also moved the germinating peas to the grow light garden and the peas from there into the growhouse, as well as moving the bigger tomato plants under the taller lights. I also finished edging the grass path near the road at the allotment.

Also put back some of the mulch that the birds had pulled off the raspberry bed and covered it with mesh to stop them, and cut back a bit of the hawthorn hedge again.

Made sure the trays in the greenhouse had water. Planted a tray of leeks musselburgh and some onions seeds that I collected from last years plants. Checked over the potted fruit everything looking green

Tomorrow hoping to get some digging done and some radish planted weather depending

Right, I've woke up this morning 'bright eyed and bushy tailed'.
The sun is out - so time for a bit of painting.
I need to brighten up the drab, grey walls that surround this place - it's like gardening in a prison yard.
