Tomorrow and Tuesday will be the first time I have had 2 full days off work in over a month, so I intend to enjoy every minute!
Finish winter weeding on plot- done
Finish mulching soft fruit- done
Listen to my library book while working, as it expires on Friday- done
Dig celery/bean trench and fill with contents of compost bin
Sow early carrots under fleece
Lots of seedsowing in greenhouse. Start hardening off seedlings which have sprouted.
If time, build a second compost bin, fix bench, weed paving round greenhouse, finish off a couple of new paths, and build deep, organic matter rich bed for cucurbits.- started, but getting 4th side fixed on will be a 2 person job...
Weed garden at home.
Stake summer raspberries
Then a long hot soak in the bath ;-)
Wow Penellype - I see you've not stopped since I was last on.
You're like a machine, how do you manage it ?
Not really! I'm lucky that my job simply requires me to monitor an inbox and answer any emails. That means that most days I can usually plan my time as I like, providing that I check the computer every couple of hours or so. If I have a difficult email to answer I often go in the garden to think about it while I do something useful.
As far as having the energy is concerned, the idea is to set things up so that it virtually looks after itself - this is where I am at home (almost) which is why I have the time and energy left to do the allotment. I am already going down there, looking around and thinking what can I do today, rather than what must I get done right now, although that could well change when things really start growing!

2 days should get it done, I know 2 hours could get it done but then I would have to hoover the house and go shopping and... NO, just no...
Today my goals were to:
- go to Wilko and buy three new arches, tall bamboo sticks, a thermometer, some new drill bits and bolts for fixing the greenhouse.
- take the van to a tyre place and get the slow puncture sorted
- collect a 16 foot trampoline for eventually building a poly tunnel with it
- take the dog for a walk
- have a nap, since I was out on the razz last night lol
