Potted on my tomatoes today, got far too many lol, but sure I will find a home for the "extras". Sowed some more varieties of lettuce, now have 5 types on the go, was a time when I only grew one.

I've been doing a bit of "guerilla" gardening on the bank where my garden goes down towards the wood. Its a bit too steep in places to stand on comfortably (or even at all) so I planted comfrey there ages ago, and have been gradually extending the patch - both as useful green manure and also to help stabilise the soil.
Anyway I grew some borlotti beans this year, and as usual with veg have been puzzling around trying to find somewhere to plant them out - the bank had a bit of space so the last 4 of them went there - at least as they are climbers they shpould grow taller than the comfrey, which is a bit of a thug.

Tomorrow I'm going to Specsavers, literally! I am fed up with my glasses dropping off my face when I'm on the allotment. After that, I'm going home to get changed for shifting horse manure (can you see a trend here??), popping to see a friend on the way to go through some uni stuff, the off to get the horse manure. If there's still time, I will probably pop to the allotment for a bit, but spending the majority of Sunday up there.
