Tomorrow l plan to earth up the pink fir apple potatoes with manure and grass clippings. Also want to plant out my homegrown romenesco cauliflower plugs - once I've found room after planting the rest of my sweetcorn that is! I've got a few solitary shallots to put out in the veg plot too and one more grow bag to go in the conservatory with melon seedlings..busy day.. I should be calling it a night now really!

Tomorrow I'm going to the plot and hopefully strimming the plot next door as the grass is so high and hanging over my beds.
I have a couple of trays of kale to plant out. How much kale does one need!?

If the weather holds off tomorrow, I intend to finish off the string netting for the beans, harvest some cut-and-come-again lettuce & rocket. The other day I may have 'pinched' the wrong trusses on the tomato plant. But I always say to myself, 'It's a learning curve. If it goes wrong, you know not to do it again - until the next time!' Plant some poached egg plant seeds. Tie up the drooping potato stalks. There are flower buds on them, but they're taking their own sweet time in flowering. Ooo! And probably dodging the rain that's forecast
