What I intend to do today/tomorrow!

We have the grandsons Saturday from 10am for 24 hours.

I'm lining up jobs to exploit child slave labour. ;-)
We can get them to turn out the last tubs of spuds.
Gather leaves, then gather leaves and some leaves. If we stick them in the little trialer with high sides the boys can drive my little vintage compact tractor (a treat the love) to take them to the allotment up the track.
I might get them to feed the worm bin too. Oh how I spoil them.

I’ve just ordered asparagus crowns. I have the bed all prepared and just need to work out a way of keeping chickens off. All pleased with myself.

Also dug out half the onion bed compost and lined that half with cardboard.

Remove pile of dog poo from front lawn and take to bin on way to allotment* (yuck)
Remove dead bedding plants if ground is dry enough for access
Move some compost from hotbed to onion bed
Harvest lettuce, peppers

*For reasons too complicated to explain I don't put a rubbish bin out so I have nowhere to dispose of things like this at home.

To pass the time I might order some more equipment or fruit bushes

OH taking small humphs out in the morning so planning a general garden tidy, and to spread my lovely giant heap of rotted cow poo around the place. Dog might help with the latter task.....
