Also sowed more Broad Beans direct at the plot as ones transplanted look a bit tired.
Also put some protection over the onion sets as a few seem to be disturbed each visit.

Last week I planted my broad bean plants in one of my raised beds. In the same raised bed, I planted some French marigold & poached egg flower seeds. Hopefully, if & when they show (& flower), they'll encourage some beneficial insects. In the other raised bed, today I planted some pea plants. I am going to have 'drape' some jute netting over the 'maypole support', as the cords supplied to fix onto it, are too long. So, I had to improvise with some garden twine. Tomorrow, I am going to sort out the trug, assemble it's cover (which will be a laugh -not), & if my back will let me, plant some more veg plants
