Root Veg plus Garlic

I know this is along way off but I would like to attempt to grow some winter veg in the future, so I just want to garner some knowledge before I commence my research.

I would like to grow Leeks , Swede , Parsnips and Garlic

As I will be growing in pots but initally in cells the size of pots I have are 5 litres , 7,5 Litres , some 20 litres and one 30 litres , How many veg of each could I grow in these pots.

Also is there any pit falls I need to consider when growing these.

I am planing pf sowing the seeds of swede in may-june next year , Parsnips in april- may of next year and leeks in feb - march next year so I have a harvest Hopefully from October to december.

With regard to Garlic I will plant the bulbs in October for a june harvest

This is the theory the reality of course is very different.

Its not actually a long way off, winter veg may be eaten in the winter/spring but its sewn now or pretty soonish
