Cucumber Wautoma - Ready or not?

Is this cucumber ready to be picked?

It's about Six inches long.

It looks ready to me Jonny, Wautoma only grow to about that size. Pick them when they're still firm and shiny, soft and dull usually means they're past their best.

Just rub the spines away - they come off easily.

That's the only one so far with a few small ones on the way.

FYI the ones outside are doing better than those on the greenhouse. They get the sun for a good 10 hours.

I've tried outside but it doesn't work for me - too many slugs, not enough sun. My gh ones are doing well - lots of little ones coming and climbing nicely.
