For some time now I have had little success growing good cauli's in containers that is until last year when I tried White Step. It is a compact cauli for the smaller garden so I reasoned it might do well in containers.
Last year I harvested 11 curds from 12 plants, not big curds you understand but nice and firm, pure white and tasty. I didn't say to much as it might have been just a fluke.
This season we ate the first one for Sunday lunch yesterday and the 13 remaining plants have 6 curds growing with more to follow.
Now I feel able to say if you grow in a confined area or in containers (I use BFBs) then you may like to try this one.
