Can anyone tell me what is the last date that Brussel Sprout plants can be planted out.

It may depend on the variety. Some are early and can be picked in October - others go through to March.

I only just planted mine out the other day,with some brassica collars made from compost bags,plant them out asap or it will get cold & they won't have grown at all or pot them on into larger pots for a bit. I've still got a few to plant out...

My sprouts are still in pots, in the queue of plants waiting to be planted out once the broad beans and first early potatoes are finished.

Also in the queue are around 30 PSB plants, a dozen romanesco, six kale, and two big pots of leeks.

This happens every year, no matter how hard I try to plan things.

As far as planting your sprouts out, so long as they're in good sized pots with good compost, my experience is that they'll soon 'catch up' once you've planted them out.

Artisan I'd give them a go because unless you do you'll be stuck with buying your sprouts instead.
