  • Growing lentils

I am thinking of growing lentils next year. Just wondering if anyone had tried this?
I wasn't sure they could be grown until I saw a packet of seeds for them in our rural nursery.
Would love to hear of anyone's experience of opinions

I've never tried but I think you need a large growing space....and you need a lot per meal.
This is the only thread ive found http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ils_87376.html

I have heard that there only two lentils to a pod so you would need a lot!

Dried beans are the way to go. Dead easy! I have grown them from brand that I bought to eat. You just need to plant a few and see if they are viable and if they are dwarf or climbers.
