Rogue tomatoes

My Mountain Magic have changed from cordon to bush. The tomatoes were tied to six foot bamboo canes but the inch and a half 'trunks' have broken away from the canes and are laying all over the place. Beautiful tomatoes with no sign of blight. I will certainly grow them next year but the supports will be a lot sturdier.

I think this year has been a good year for tomatoes growing, but (in my case) not so good at ripening (yet).

Mine were late ripening mid July was the first picking this year instead of the first week in June, however so far we have had plenty to eat, give some away and freeze some as puree and whole for use with my winter brekky.
