Well...we ate a few of the smaller ones this evening. Most unusual.

Not fallen in love with them, but happy to try and cook with them.
They are supposed to be very healthy for you, so worth at least trying them out!

I think they have a bit of an aftertaste...bit like nasturtium leaves?

Nor do I know how tolerant Mr Snoop's palate is nor whether he suffers from IBS

Mr Snoop's palate is influenced by his eyes. I think the sight of them might put him off. As for the IBS, no, neither of us suffers from it, but I'm a bit worried about the implication of the after effects that achocha have.

haven't suffered anything similar from Achocha's though Snoop so rest easy

OH is making a Thai red curry with half of them as we speak.
Funnily...I'm not so keen on their flavour raw...be OK mixed with something spicy I'm sure....but then again I love asparagus peas and I know loads who can't stand them!
I'll keep going with them...always good to keep an open mind and experiment in the kitchen!
