Not even heard of it until now. At a guess does it need a sunny sheltered site with free draining moisture retentive soil with a closely controlled pH and adequate water without getting too wet, is it also susceptible to pests and will bolt as soon as you turn your back?

It's looking like blown cauliflower to me.
I'm guessing ( because I didn't read all the link ) that it has a long growing season like sprouting broccoli and it's relations.
Not grown it, not tried it and don't want to! It might taste like cauliflower

One link says there are 3 versions of it!!

Commercially available in three varieties with a period of 65, 80, and 100 days of ripening respectively, Fioretto™ is for professional growers and home gardeners.

I don't know whether that's days from sowing or from planting out.

After the ?intentional renaming of Kalettes and the Melothrie/cucamelons etc I'm suspicious of any "new" veg

DT Brown's is selling seeds (mentioned in a promotional email that arrived this morning). Even they say it's not the prettiest variety, but apparently it tastes good. Might want to buy some from a shop before bothering to grow it, though.

Did anyone try growing this veg?
              Still curious - but mean.

MODs - please can you merge https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...mes_95400.html with this thread. I seem to have forgotten I'd already asked about it.

              threads now merged.

It's an age thing VC it may happen to me once I reach your age, fortunately that several years away yet
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                  Thanks Bren .

Rary, you've clearly forgotten how old you really are.
