                    I think 5 varieties is more then enough. Because 12 is a little excessive even by my standards .

                        • 1st couple time I tried to grow Evesham Special - always a disappointment. This year growing Brilliant F1 Hybrid. that said, not up to SP standard.

                            • I cut a stem of mine today lovely looking crop, only to find them infested with tiny grey ant-like critters, never seem them before
                              But I took off all the Brussel's outside leaves, soaked them (the Brussels and the critters )in salt water and then rinsed them off.
                              No sign of the critters after that - so they are now in the freezer.
