I have just used a red cabbage from the garden and when preparing it there were no slugs or snail's on it and not a lot of snail damage, compared to green cabbages, they are far more snail resistant, are there other veg that sluggish and snail's avoid

I "think" I read that red leaves are less attractive to slugs, snails, ?birds than green - but I could be making it up!! -

If red puts them off a bit, I wonder if Snadger or Jay-ell noticed any difference when they were doing their trials with different coloured meshit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
