I'm not growing much in the way of veg that's new to me but I am going to try new varieties of lots of things I've already grown. So for example, rather than Paris Market carrots I'm going to try Oxhella. And in addition to Autumn King carrots for overwintering, I'm going to give Eskimo a go. And in some cases I'm going back to old favourites. There's been a bit of a clear-out of my seed box in recent weeks.

One particular variety I came across is suitable for growing outdoors in our British climate, but I won't, will grow under cover to give it a better chance, but can't find the "Sodding" seed packet to tell ya what it is, think it's in the back of the car!A life is like a garden. Never thought I would ever say this but new this year will be sunflowers. Our South facing front has what the builder calls "icing" on it so a few tall yellow sunflowers will give a nice contrast. And yes I have passed the severe stress test!
Aaaaaaaah! Small Pumpkin now you have organised the first square foot what are you going to plant in the rest of the garden?
