        • Sowed my PSB today. Just ordered some new cabbage and swede seed as the ones i sowed didnt germinate. The seed was a couple of year out of date.

Still got loads to sow. Running late this year due to weather.

            • Sowed spring onion. White Lisbon.
              Beetroot, Bolthardy.
              Cumin. First-time trying this.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                    • Just sown 6 cabbage Candissa
6 sprouts Trafalgar (to replace an earlier sowing that failed to germinate)
                      6 sprouts Brendan.
The 6 tomatoes Mountain Magic and the 6 Super Marmande that I sowed on 16 th March are now about 4 inches high but stretching towards the light on the windowsill. I can't put them in the greenhouse yet, it's still too cold at night.

                      • Hi Eric. Can you put your tomato plants in the greenhouse during the day and bring them back in at night.
That might help them from getting too leggy.

                        • I sowed some chitted parsnip seeds. The daughter's bladdy cat dug up the first lot so there are lots of little sticks protecting these.

                              • Eventually got my carrots sowed into 4 big tubs. My swede seeds arrived as well today so i sowed them and threw my old seed out as they haven't germinated.

My Parsnip seeds have germinated in the little tub i have them in so i will be looking to get them out into the garden and in the ground soon. think it's going to rain all day tomorrow.

And as i sit here now i have just remembered i need to sow my leek seeds. So I'm away out there now.
