Sowed 30 Sweetcorn 'Swift F1'

Sowed 3 more lots of courgettes as only one pot out of four has grown. Only to be expected, sow by 2014...I guess the seeds don't keep too well.

31 different varieties of Climbing French beans to add to the 4 sown a few weeks ago.

Outside between my peas & strawberries I direct sowed some Gustavs salad,marvel of four seasons salad leaves & radish pink beauty & I've put some blowaway metal shelving over it all to protect from my cat. Indoors I’ve sowed seven self saved purple beans,seven celebration runner beans & seven moonlight runner beans. Sowed about ten sunspot dwarf sunflower seeds,three pots of nasturtium,two pots of basil & two pots of parsley.

10 Courgettes of differing varieties.
A tray of randomly scattered salad leaves.
40 Modules of lettuces.
72 French Beans - mixed dwarf and climbers.
Quite a productive evening.

Two rows of beetroot, Boldor (yellow) and Chioggia (candystriped). These unusual coloured beetroot don't taste as good as the regular ones, but they look so good in salads, I grow them every year!

Sowed some toy shop sunflowers yesterday because none of my sunspot (old seeds) germinated,these have a mix of flowerheads & different coloured seeds look pretty & a couple of days ago I sowed some sugarbon snap peas with a few parsnip seeds amongst them,in the soil near some tomatoes & marigolds.
