Happy dance, first tomato and DD who doesn't like tomatoes, ate it, well the outer part and I had the inner.

Some woodland strawberries and normal strawberries.

Might as well mention the lettuce leaves too.

Today I harvested for the first time ever !!! Maris piper potatoes...

Yeah it might not seem like much to you seasoned pro's... But I have never grown a spud before in my life!
I planted 2 seed maris piper in a 30lit container back in mid Mar and left them in the unheated greenhouse, they were well covered in compost.

Guess the mix I used wasn't far off as I harvested just under 7lb ! of potatoes from this one pot! Yeah I know they are a main crop potato, but I have a Mum and Dad due home from hols tomorrow asking me "are the spuds ready yet Jen" so I thought I'd try a pot. Well over a dozen 'pea' sized ones as well so I guess another month or so for the rest of the pots and the harvest will be bigger (she hopes) ...
