              • Yesterday - courgette, cucumber, onions (brown good, red disappointing, 2 x 4' rows of Paris Silverskin pickling yielded...... 9 marble sized onions ), shallots, one volunteer potato, green tomatoes (accidental casualties of stripping the leaves to get light and air in)

                • Today:
                  Beetroot (red, white and golden)
Chard (self seeded in the asparagus bed but doing wonderfully, much better than the asparagus!)
Parsnips (late thinnings, about finger size, just about to be scrubbed and chucked in a hot oven))
Spuds (from a bucket in the greenhouse)
