Over the ladt few days ive harvested an absolute boat load of tomatoes. More than i could ever eat before they rotted so made a massive pan of tomato soup. Which i can feeeze and eat over the coming cold months.

Today's harvest broccoli (quite a lot), swede, carrots, last of the runner beans and 2 uchiki kuri squash.

A lot of apples (they harvested themselves really, I just picked them up), 2 peppers and a courgette and a melon.

Yesterday, all my reddish tomatoes and made into passata. Good timing as today green tomatoes that are all over the lawn. That was some storm last night.

10kg of Tomatoes - just over 2kg pictured from 1 plant (20 plants in all). Bottom right in picture you can see the weight/plant being recorded. So far this year have 77kg which is just over 8lb per plant in real money. Going out now to look at the squash as weather turning colder soon.

Well I just picked some of the squash - the biggest butternut (to date) are 4.2, 3.1 and 2.5kg respectively with 2kg for an uchiki kuri at 2.1kg.



Also this one but not sure what it is (apart from being 4.2kg.) , any ideas? I sowed 3 green banana seeds but can't see any about. Last year I sowed 2 seeds and got some big green things this shape but none are about this year. I didn't label anything as I thought I would recognise them when I saw them. Germination of uchiki kuri were very poor last year and the year before so I saved some seed from 2 plants about 200 feet from other squash so it is possible this is a cross between that and green banana but I only planted out 3 uchiki kuri I thought and I can identify 3 that look like they should.
