Yesterday was my very first harvest... ever! Nothing exciting, just spinach and chard, but I'm super chuffed to start eating the product of my first year attemp at growing something. The spinach plants have absolutely exploded!
A few rhubarb stalks.
Salad: pea shoots, cress and mustard, two kinds of red mustard leaf, rocket, spinach, perpetual spinach, three kinds of lettuce, mizuna, dandelions, claytonia, radish tops, two kind of mint, lemon balm... probably some other stuff I am forgetting!
Oyster mushrooms - the first to actually come to anything from a Dobies mushroom kit (all the others have just withered away before properly fruiting)
Not from the garden but from the sea some sea lettuce - now rinsed and drying on a rack to be added to noodle broth dishes - particularly good with salmon in a Miso broth
