I made leek and potato soup from the leek after removing the slugs. All the same i made sure it was well blended just in case. The Young Muck Lovers are a squeamish lot.

My very first crop: 37g of mixed spinach, pak choi and tatsoi, after taking on two 7x1.5m beds in a local allotment share in February. This is the first food I've successfully grown, other than chillies and very few tomatoes in pots.

I'm currently digging over a third bed to bring it into production
