                    • First beans and beetroot of 2018; 7 courgettes, 1 cucumber, twice as many tomatoes as you see but I've eaten the rest, and some sweet peas.
Wonder what I can make from this lot?

                          • We had our first ever mini harvest at the weekend.

We took a chance on main crop potato (maris piper), and obtained a nice stash of small new potaoes.
Then Peas, a few beans, Beetroot, onions.

Saturday was a special day for more than one reason.

Can't really count the raddish as we've been getting these for ages. :-)

                            • Yesterday, I harvested 21.9 pounds of gooseberries from my two bushes.
I have no idea of the variety but I bought them as standard bushes about 5 years ago from Lidl. They were just labelled as gooseberries.
