Beans, beetroot, blackberries, cabbage, courgettes, mangetout, 1 marrow (=1.5lb overgrown courgette..).
Also dug up about 5kg spuds- to make room for some seedlings
Carrots (as planted by the little one). He was terribly excited by the seed-sowing, watched them grow in the greenhouse, and was bored after about three carrots coming up. Tried one, and spat out saying it was "horrible"... OTOH, I think we had some blackberries - judging by the state of his t-shirt and face...
Also green beans and a few turnips. Swiss chard needs picking too
Hello,
I am quiet now to this forum (in fact to forum at all!)
this winter i decides to garden again since i have a 2 years old daughter.
I did save seed of red kuri winter squash seed. ( not F1).
plant them out mid may in my front garden.
let me tell you my front garden has never been cultivated, only weeds grow there, its a heavy clay soil.
so i dig 15cm square hole put manure in it then plant my squashes. i have 3.
Since then they been growing very slowly . there are just staring trailing and i had 2 tiny squashes then nothing.
i know that is not the best spot but i thought that if i was keeping then well watered and feeding them every week they will do well.
do you think that i had a chance that they give me more fruits.
what shall i do to keep them happy?
Welcome to the vine valoutecook.
Hopefully a mod will be along soon to move your post to where you will get more answers to your question. Unfortunately I'm going to be no help at all.
