              • 17lb of green tomatoes (plants got blight).
Also some runner beans, mini sweetcorn, courgettes/squash, and my first ever brussels sprouts!

I have to say I was surprised by sprouts in September as I thought they wouldnt appear for another couple of months

I haven’t grown potatoes much before apart from a few volunteers in the past.
Any I did grow fell apart when boiled and I was discouraged.
But these Charlotte potatoes from two pots have blown my mind!
They got a bit of blight and I decided to turn them out of the pot before other plants got affected. It wasn’t even ten weeks so I thought the yield would be poor.
I can hardly believe the amount! And they do not break up on cooking. I have more outside and a few in the polytunnel. I’m hooked!

Or am I thinking with my digestive system??

Most days I’m picking a punnet if fab soft fruit. Mostly autumn raspberries at the moment
