            • I braved the weather twice today. I went back out and harvested some tomatoes to go with tea.
              Toms are nearly finished.

                • A Hispi cabbage some Calabrese, and I'm still getting a few Garden Pearl tomatoes from the plant on the greenhouse staging. First and last to fruit this year, when all the big ones have finished and gone to the compost heap

                  • Last of the courgettes, summer squash and one gherkin sized outdoor cucumber (no, not the London one! ), a white cabbage, 4lb runner beans, and a handful of sprouts and broccoli

                            • butternut and other winter squash, about 2 wheelbarrows full. 3 butternut were 5.5kg each, I just hope they are tasty.

                              • Last night I harvested a red cabbage. It felt quite heavy. So I weighed it......3 1/2kg. Happy with that.
