  • I may have to sow more seeds in a couple of weeks.
I know I was going to save some till after the frost kills the outdoor ones in the third week of June, but they were getting too unwieldy and drinking too much water in the 4" pots, so I crumbled and stuck the last four out yesterday.
No names. There are too many of them. I didn't think they'd take kindly to being called Dopey, Sneezy, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Doc, Hugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, and Grub.
The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.

      Ooh, Barney Mac grew!

He seems to have decided to grow sideways though. May have to give him a stick to help him reach the trellis...

          • I'm hoping to keep my Trombas in pots.
Is there a recommended minimum size of pot that I'll need to see them through to maturity?

Big as possible. The biggest you've got. The biggest you've got space for.
My indoor trom is in about 50lt tub.
What ever size pot you go with, your trom is going to need lots of feeding

it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
