    • Two of mine are also growing either side of an arch, that has two vertical "stakes" to grow up, so once the trombas are long enough to wrap around either the vertical or the horizontal stakes, I do so. Until then they hang freely

      • I decided to take the one that has been restricted off the plant as I was a bit worried that it would fall off, and I didn't want that to happen, even though it had been trapped it was still firm from end to end, here are some photos

              • Sorry, it's in grams, I can't think in lbs. and oz But I believe the scales are smarter than me and can do both.

                • Golly gosh. I'm going to have to find some way of taking and posting photos. Very low tech here and terrible data allowance.

Anyway, one of Sid's Sidettes is looking like I might need to pick her soon. Going paler green and fattening up.

                        • This is my biggest so far. It's 20 inches long, and a good 7.5 inches girth (!!)

They are growing up a wigwam in the earth - we have weighed it on the travel scales 820 gms. I have taken a few photos - we are trying to work out how to get them on here!!!!
