crop rotation and muck spreading!

I remember reading somwhere about the suggested best timings for when to add muck before which rotations as some plants need it more than others! But I can't find where I read it so can anyone enlighten me to this?

Have read that one thanks, but still alittle confused as got a 4 bed rotation not 3 as mentioned there, plus seems they put spuds as a seperate bed and the book I have has them included in the roots section of the rotation, is this ok? and on this version, when with what do I muck etc?!
