    We grew some "Russian Giant" sunflowers a couple of years ago and to be fair, they did live up to their name. The stem was nearly 3m tall with a huge head on it. Didn't hear it speak any Russian though...

      It's what you do with it...

      Compost mostly cos of slug damage or viruses...

        Not really, I’m more often drawn to grow a new variety by its colour or a funny/nice/different name.
