I have had my autumn sown broad beans in pots in the cold greenhouse for months doing fine. I have been hardening them off outside of late until this really cold snap came and then kept them inside. Some other plants in pots in the greenhouse have their soul frozen and the broad beans are wilting ( as are my perennial kales outside) because of the wind chill and no sunlight in the greenhouse this has caused the problem.
I have wrapped bubblewrap around them to give soem pretection from the wind getting through the gaps in the polycarbonate sheets ( extremely windy) but my question is will they recover as I would be gutted to lose them.
