I wonder why they don’t reuse them that’s a lot of waste countrywide.

When I start to get short I ask in our Co op. Manageress says they are supposed to recycle them, but it's a hassle to do so, easier for her to recycle them by giving them to gardeners Win win!

My local M’s occasionally sell them ...8 for 99p but they are few and fr between. As say they recycle them and won’t sell them at all. I think it depends who is managing it....As wouldn’t even be persuaded to sell me half a dozen!

Morrisons didn't have any when I was there last week . Devastated!
I was looking forward to get some of these wonderful mystical MFB. So I've still never seen one (not available in the shop anyway).

I think it depends who you get. I have gone armed with small children which seems to get more willing staff. Not sure if it is cos they look sweet (small children not staff), looks like I am more needy or if they worry the girls might throw a tantrum if they don't get the buckets. Even had a security guy climbing over pumpkins one visit to get them for me. I don't go very often as there isn't one close to me.

Thank you to all the helpful Morri. staff

Been in my nearest Lidl once - never again. Cheap items free buckets no excuse for being rude, miserable, or unhelpful towards customers.

When I say local, that is a 30min drive. Think the next nearest is 45mins in the other direction that I don't usually go. Ruddy rural livin'

Damn it, you beat my bargain! I deliberately went to morrisons this morning as I figured after mother's day they would have hundreds... they had 6-7 lots of 15 buckets, so I picked up two. 30 buckets for £1.98, I was well chuffed!

Sell 'em all year round here, 10 for a quid.
Guess it depends on store layout/space, clientele and manager.
