Marigolds in tomato beds

    Marigolds amoung the carrots (which are near the onions) to discourage carrot fly. Nasturtium growing up the poles supporting the tomato/cucumber swing type frame. Other flowers dotted about to encourage the polinators. I'm not sure the value of marigolds in the tomato bed oher than looking pretty.

      French Marigolds are widely believed/claimed to have a smell that deters whitefly away tomatoes.

        I picked up 2 packets this morning ,sowing them tomorrow and may save some seeds to put outside with outdoor toms .atb Dal.
