I'm getting a bit brased off with this ! can some one explain why I can not post without answering stupid questions about what colour a green jacket is and how many days are in a year ! and even having to rewrite the title of a topic when replying to a ongoing thread ? mods please explain !

If you had this problem with your previous name and you're having the same with the new one - but nobody else has said they're having the same problem, I can only conclude one thing - its something you're doing.
I'm not a Mod so can't help in any way.

What are you using? Computer, ipad, phone.............???

Absolutely no idea -sounds very strange!...as VC says...what are you using?

Maybe if anyone else is having similar problems they can let us know.

If so we could get Admin to look into it.
As it stands, it sounds like it's something at your end dal.

Hopefully someone can suggest something to try and resolve things?
Can you take screenshots for us to see?

I had this for a while after joining the forum; I think it is to make sure that you are a real person rather than a robot. It stopped after a few weeks.

Yes I had this too, once I got to 20 or so posts (might have been sooner) it stopped asking

Thanks Both - that makes sense. Its so long since I joined, I hadn't realised that these checks were in the system.
Perhaps Dal could confirm whether he had the same problem with his old account - or something different?

If we knew the answer Dal we would gladly explain but please remember we are just users like you, we have no control over the forum architecture and it's functionality.

Also you don’t need to rewrite the title of the thread in the Title box.
It’s an extra option so you get a title within your post.

If you look at your posts you will see they have a bold title, if you don’t type anything in the Title box you just get the text you type in the big box. I don't think anyone actually uses it which is what it confusing you.

That’s exactly what it is as computers can spam forums - not sure how or why but my understanding is they can!

I think it even says that’s why it is asking, once it trust you are ‘real’ it stops asking and you get ‘quick reply’ as well all very exciting.
